Samuel's fathers' name was Greene BOONE who was born in Bradley County, TN. I have searched and found where it says that his father's name was William Daniel. This William Daniel born 1809, Mulberry Creek, Burke County, NC is listed as the 3rd child of Israel BOONE born Feb 7, 1780 Burks, NC. Died Oct 13, 1839 McMinn County, TN Married Oct 14. 1802 St Johns River, Burke, North Carolina. It also states that Jesse BOONE and Sarah McMahan were Israel's parents.
