Hello:
I have done a lot of research on the Thompsons who were in Franklin, Grundy and Marion counties from 1830 through 1930. I believe the Moses you are looking for was in Marion County in 1840. I am descended from Samuel Thompson of Marion County, but some of his siblings and relatives were in Grundy and Franklin Counties throughout the years.
