Rev. War patriots graves are not marked unless certain guidelines are met
through Daughter of the American Revolution or Sons of the American
Revolution. Have you tried at DAR | "National Society - Patriot Index
Lookup Service" http://www.dar.org/natsociety/pi_lookup.cfm ?

Also, the Greeneville, Greene Co. Library - namely the T. Elmer Cox Library
(for Genealogy) http://www.ggcpl.org/cox.html has changed their way of
helping others locate their lost relatives but Don Miller the director is
most helpful. Since they have changed their policies, please go to the
Library's site and read their updates.

I've a relative that is substaniated with different Rev. War services from
multiple books even is buried in a grave yard that has other Rev. War hero's
in it, but is not been deemed certified by DAR or SAR so there is no marker
on his grave. Being so far away and senior citizens with limited income
I've not been able to get them to acknowledge him either. Discouraging.
