If you go to Google and type in the words 'Nolichuckey Settlers' you will get all sorts of information. These men were Revolutionary War sharp shooters who came to Greene County because they got Land Grants for fighting in the war. Many of them knew each other. My great great Grandfather John Reynolds, for example, was friends with John Malone whose family also came to Greene Co. and their children intermarried. I believe the Land Grands were out of NC.
