It's been forever since i've done the family genealogy, I got stuck on Martin V. Davis (GGGrandfather) a few years ago and got frustrated and quit. I have a few questions... Were the Nolichucky settlers a religious community? I noticed most of them were Scotch-Irish (Cumberland) Presbyterians. Does anyone know why they settled in Greene Co? I believe i'm a descendant of Nathan Davis (1783 Tax list). If you have any info please contact me.
