I have the Jonathan and Hannah (Cravens)Evans family in Greene CO.,TN. Children: John,Evan,Robert,Jonathan,William and James C. Evans.I'm wondering if anyone can identify the James C. Evans,reason is my GGGrandmother Mary (Evans) Pack says her father was Charles Evans and his Father John or Jonathan Evans. This family fits and the area fits just can't pin point where she goes in the family.
Mary had brothers Thomas ,John and a sister Prudence.Mary married Benson Pack had children:James B. 1839,Maria B. 1841,Mary Jane B. 1845,Hannah B. 1845,Prudence B. 1846,Benson B. 1852, and Julia Ann B. 1854.
Thomas Evans had children: Daniel and Caroline.
John Evans married Polly A. Miller had children:Lucinda B. 1835,Christopher C. B. 1838, John B. 1842,Eliza Jane B. 1845,Thomas J. B. 1846,James A. B 1848 all in TN.
