I am a direct descendant of Joseph Hixson and Susannah (unknown). According to the 1776 State Census of MD both Joseph and Susannah were born in 1746. However, the place of their birth is unknown. Also, mentioned in the census is a dau Mary whom we must assume died young as this is the only record which exists for her. She was born in 1774 in MD.

Much of the information on the Hixsons has now been revised as documents for statements once made are corrected with these newly found records.
