I didn't know Okalona McClanahan at all. A long time ago, I talked to a lady, Una Farris Allen, in Placerville, CA. She referred to him as "Pat". He was living with her there, but has since died. She was very old at the time. I don't know if either or any of that family is still around, but there is a Dennis McClanahan, who lives in Paragould, AR now. He said Pinckney was his grandfather. Pinkney's father, James said in 1850 Census he was born in SC as was my line before 1800. Also, was Davy Sarah Ellen's married name or was it a maiden name? My grandmother was a Davie from Madison Co., TN. Her grandfather was a Patrick Henry Davie, born 1821, TN.
