John J. Married 1st Eliza J. X b. SC c. 1852 had son William K. b. SC c. 1878 and a daughter (Lilly?) b. SC in 1880. Also had a son Daniel Benjamin b. 8 May 1887 in Trio, Williamsburg Co., SC .
John J. Thomas married 2nd a Catherine Susan X (b. SC c. 1888) in 1909 had John b. SC 1913, Mary b. SC 1918, Herman b. SC 1920, Henry b. SC 1923. William K. married about 1905 to Leitha (?) Virginia Jamagan/Jernigan b. SC c. 1886 who had a brother Joseph Jamagan/Jernigan b. 1890 SC. William K. and Leitha(?) Virginia had Samuel J. b. SC c. 1906 and Aussie b. SC c. 1909-10 possibly died in childhood, also Willie B. b. SC c. 1912, Elma b. SC c. 1914, and Bessie b. SC c. 1919. William K. seemed to live next door to John J. almost his entire adult life.
John J. and 1st wife Eliza J. son, Daniel Benjamin Thomas married c. 1908 in SC Maggie Rebecca X b. SC c. 1889. They lived in Gaudin Georgetown SC in 1910 back to Anderson, Williamsburg County, SC in 1920 and then to Lancaster County by 1930.
They had six children including Golden Clifton Thomas (1916-1998) who married Mildred Cauthen. Other children were Benjamin O. b. SC c. 1909, Maude W.. b. SC c. Feb. 1910, Lilian (?) J. b, SC c. 1911, Winston W. b. SC c. 1915, and James b. SC c. 1923. Goldy was listed as Arthur in 1920 census.
Who is D. Thomas? Who are his parents? Is his father H. B. Thomas born in VA? If so what is his lineage? The family seems to have been farmers in this county for 50 or so years. Why did they leave? Where did the others go? Are they buried in a local cemetery? Are there any descendants out there?
