Hi Janice Hall. I just started responding on line to family searches. I noticed you are inquiring about a Henry Polson from Marlboro Co. I am inquiring about a Henry Polson from the adjoining county of Chesterfield. Henry owned land on Juniper Creek near the town of Patrick in 1796 (SC archives). I talked with an elderly lady (I believe her name was Dora Moore) from Bennettsville SC last year and she told me her g-father was Henry Polson and that he had been married three times. There's a book available about Chesterfield with a picture of Henry Polson in it. The picture is dated around 1800. You might already have the book by now. Anyway I would love to continue our correspondences since I am very interested in the history of these families. Right now all my history notes are at home and I'm having trouble getting on line with my computer so I'm typing this without my resources at hand.
