Dennis, see my post regarding Mary, the daughter of Cedecia listed in the 1880 census. The two sons listed with her were born well after Francis Sharp died - and, as stated in my post bears the name of my grandfather, John A. Wise. Bailom is one of the names of John A. Wise's brothers as given to me by my mom and her family - there were six more including the two in the home of John W. and Mary A. Wise living next door.
John Wesley Wise is my big brick wall - I can't get past him! I know he was born around 1838, served in Co. I, 20th Regiment CSA and was injured, had three wives - Mary A., Cedecia, and Nancy Jane - and outlived all three, dying after the 1910 census and before the 1920 census.
