I've got a "Mary McClanahan" born 1780, Abbeville Dist, SC. She went to Hickman Co, TN circa 1813 from Kentucky where my John McClanahan was born in 1805. Later to MS with Josiah Shipp. Second son Felix Grundy McClanahan born 1809, later adopted as Shipp before moving to MS. Does this mean anything to you?
