George Caldwell came to this country from Scotland in the early 1800's. not sure if he came alone or with family. He married in Maryland. There are no records of him before his marriage, that is why I beleive he was in Pa. first. I hape someone has a few Caldwells in there line. He married Mary Cecely Riley who was from Emmitsburg Md.
