To your reference of Boyer...I am researching my ancester, an Adam Bowyer of VA...who might be son of Joseph Beier/Beyer/Boyer, born in 1712 married in America to Anna Maria. Johann Joseph Beyer/Boyer owned a farm in York County, Pa. He died Jan 12, 1749, and wife Anna Maria married a Conrad Spies/Spiess on 1/23/1750 and had children with him. Our Adam changed name to Bowyer in VA. If you have any info about a Boyer named Joseph born about 1712 married to anna Maria in York County, PA, I would appreciate hearing from you. sheilakline47@yahoo.com Or info about members who came to America on 9//21/1731 on Ship Brittani of London from Rotterdam and qualified in Philadlephia 9/21/1731. There were at least eight Beyers. Some went to PA, some possibly to VA.
