What birth year are we looking at for this James Hoover?

I have some Hoover lines and I'll be glad to take a look in my data to see if I can find any connections. Mine start in the Raymilton, PA area, and go into unknown locations so it's a possibility that there might be a match. The James that I'm thinking of does have a sister named Sarah - husband unknown.

Have you checked the 1870 Census to see if that family is in the same location and if there is a difference in the age for James? Census takers took whatever information was given to them, and sometimes the ages weren't necessarily correct on the Census form.
