Some additional information for anyone who is researching the Gallagher surname in Killaser Co Mayo

Mary Gallagher:the sister and housekeeper of Rev Peter and Rev Andrew Gallagher returned to Ireland following their deaths and joined the Sisters of Mercy in Sligo town. She died in 1930 and is buried in the Convent grounds. Another brother Daniel was a priest in Co.Sligo . Fr Dan Gallagher studied in Maynooth Ireland. At the time of his death in 1910, he was a Parish Priest in Rockfield, Coolaney,Co Sligo (Dioceses of Achonry)
