Thanks Jim, Her name fits but her age is a bit off. We're thinking that the norm for marriageable age would be early twenties or younger for women. Henry and Sallie Bensil/Pencel's first child was born in 1770 so we assume the marriage was in 1768/9 in Lower Smithfield. I'm estimating Sallie/Mary's birth to be around 1748 but one can never tell so I'll keep your Maria Hillman in mind. The marriage to Henry may have been a second marriage.

All these Lower Smithfield families had to have intermarried as there just weren't that many people living out on the Pennsylvania frontier. I know the Depui's, DeWitt's, Van Campens, Shoemaker's, etc. all intermarried. Your post is the first time I've heard of Hillman. I've haven't heard it in my Wyoming Valley research either. I'll look around though.
