I was in the main library in Stroudsburg (on 9th Street I believe), this past summer, 2004. There is a Research Room on the 2nd floor, and I pulled a "folder" off the shelf, with photocopies, I think(?), specifically about the flood of '55. Lots of photos, newspaper articles, stories, etc. If you call , as for help in the Research Room, and I'm sure they will have info you need. Good Luck !
