My Jacob Pencil/Pensyl of Quiet Valley, Monroe County had a 2nd wife named Mary Ann according to the census. I am trying to eliminate Mary Ann Werkheiser, daughter of Valentine & Sarah Werkheiser as a possiblity. Rootsweb has Mary Ann Werkheiser b. Jan. 5, 1815 as 1st married to Jacob Uhler and 2nd married to Charles Mohn. Also her year of death has been mentioned as 1855.

Can anyone confirm that this Mary Ann Werkheiser was indeed married to Jacob Uhler and then Charles Mohn? Can anyone confirm her date of death as 1855?

If so, then this would eliminate Mary Ann Werkheiser as a possible wife of Jacob Pencil.
