I am also stumped on who the parents were of Rachel Longwell born 1820. I went the info I have on the sons of William Longwell Sr. and Rachel Walker. You can rule out two of his sons. THOMAS (1784-1868). Thomas' daughter Rachel b. 1817 married Silas Alexander. HUGH had a daughter Rachel b. 1829 who married George Pollock. The possible LONGWELL sons who could have had a daughter Rachel are: MATTHEW and WILLIAM. I have scant info on their children. But folks on the LONGWELL list should be able to help with this, I would think. My husband descends from William Longwell Sr's son Thomas Longwell. Helen
