Merry, my brain was thinking one thing, my fingers wrote another. Yes, I meant to say Mary Pearson, daughter of Samuel, might be the WIFE of Joseph STROUD. That still may not be a correct assumption, but Joseph STROUD with his family was living in Coolsprings at the time, and he did have a wife Mary later that he could have married by the time Samuel PEARSON wrote his will. I don't have anything to tell me whether Joseph's wife was a Pearson or not, but she was a Mary. Joseph was 17 in the 1850 census, living with his father William. Their children were Henry, Elizabeth, Willimina, and Charles, in Venango Co. in 1880. Joseph, Mary, and son Charles were buried back in Mercer Co. Best wishes, Gene Rooks in Gotha
