Came across this post and wanted to reply. My name is Brian Geverd, I descend from a Hessian soldier named Johann Christian Kiefer who's surname was recorded and or transcribed as Giebert, Keavort, Keever, Keaver, Geaverd and Gilbert. I followed up on all of the records you referenced in your post with the originals at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. Wright's transcriptions are incorrect, the 4 "Gilbert" records mentioned are actually spelled "Giebert" in the originals. The Christian "Gilbert" of the Reformed Church of Philadelphia is Christian Giebert of Passyunk Township, Philadelphia. Also the Magdalena transcription is wrong, its Marlena. His first wife was Anna Maria Marlena Losch. She died on 15 September 1787. If you want to see the originals let me know.
