That's interesting. I just assumed Catherine was a daughter of Mary & Samuel since Mary's other daughter by Henry, Martha, isn't with the family in 1850. Though Martha was already married by then, though at 16/17 years of age. Everything you've found between the two messages is awesome. Has me thinking differently than I was before I made that first post. Henry must have died between 1838 & 1840 because he's not in the 1840 census anywhere by any spelling, leaving a wife & two girls. And Mary had to have married Samuel in 1841 have had their first son John in 1842. Now I have more names & dates to work with. Thanks so much. I'm going to the historical society in the next couple days, so I'll look into all this and see what I find. Thanks again for the wonderful info. I'm very grateful & appreciative.
