My grandfather, Hugh Banks McMeen grew up on a farm in McAllistersville, Juniata County, PA ,not far from Port Royal. He married Lydia Lesch or Leosch; they had two children, Margaret and James, my father, who lived most of their lives in Lewistown, PA, twelve miles from Juniata County.

I know that my mother, Sylvia Pratt from Bridgewater, MA has referred to an Irene McMeen and wonder if there is a connection.

I grew up in Lewistown, PA and had second cousins, related by marriage through my grandmother-her sister married a McMeen from the same area but have never know any other McMeen's in my life!
