Very very few detailed records are available... detailed... if you have a GENERAL idea of when someone died, you can go to the indexes previously mentioned and find the exact date of death... but until last fall, you couldn't even get that for sure. Now the index is on-line... but not the details. Until recently, we assumed we had to write to New Castle... and pay for the records..... Since facts are public domain, genealogists pushed to have them released to the general public. If you skim the message boards you will see frequent requests for obituaries. This has been our mainstay.
