There is another trick when using the PRINT SCREEN KEY. If you enlarge/blow-up the article or item you want to copy and then press the PRINT SCREEN KEY you will get a higher resolution copy when you paste the item into a photo editor or Word.
If you have a subscription to Ancestry.com, 19 Gettysburg newspapers are available dating from 1803 to 1956. Granted that there are a lot of holes in the list most years are covered.
If you live in the Gettysburg area the Gettysburg College Library has an extensive newspaper microfilm collection of Gettysburg papers, readers and collection located in bottom floor level.
By the way the "New Oxford Item" (1889-1867) was a paper located in Adams Co. and I always check it when I have problems locating and Obit, Marriage and Death notice. For some reason missing ones in other papers seem to show up there.
