Give the Adams County Historical Society a try. You can find them at the following URL:

http://www.achs-pa.org/

Look around the site and then CLICK ON >> Request for Research. They have the largest and only collection of Adams County, PA historical information. It is not limited to just historical info but they have a surname name file that has info for various family names, etc. They charge for doing research but they do a great job. You can save any research charge by going there and doing the work yourself.
