Hi Helen:

I have two articles about the contest. One published on 1 April 1913 - Page 1 and another about the contest published 15 years later. It was titled "Out of the Past" and "FIFTEEN YEARS AGO." A sub title was "Happenings of Days Gone by as Chronicled in The Star and Sentinel and the Gettysburg Times, the filed revealed." The two articles are just too long to transcripe. I will send you actual copies of the files.

One problem is that ancestry won't accept large attached files. If you send me your email address I will email you direct copies of the two articles and any others that I find that are related to the contest.
