By now, it may exist only in the memories of a few. It is/was directly North of Newberg about 4 miles. Today it is probably in the city limits.

It had a Friends church and a 1 or 2 room school. My Aunt was a teacher in the school. She and family lived about 2 miles on North. Their older daughter still lives on part of the farm.

The West Chehalem district was directly to the West about 5 miles. It still has a school and a Friends Church, I belive.

A Google search on "Chehalem friends" and similar will give you more information.

By the way, I grew up in the Springbrook area, about 4 miles East of Chehalem Center.
