Hi.
Yes, as I remember, Greg and Robbie are adopted. If you don't know where to start on a family tree, perhaps I can help. Are you looking for only Atkinson? If so, the tree runs into confusion about 1805 with the birth of John Atkinson. Every generation has several John Atkinsons and they never seemed to have a middle name. Some have tried to keep them under control by attaching a wife's name! That's as far back as I can reliably go for the Atkinson line.

If we go with Robert's Grandmother's line, Elizabeth Ellen Gowins, we can go back to 1598. A branch of our Gowins line includes John Proctor as an ancestor. He was the first man to be hanged in Salem MA fo withchcraft. The Arthur Miller play "The Crucible" was written about him.

We live in Crooked River Ranch, in Central Oregon. Where are you? I can email family information in print form, or send files by email, or print on paper for you. Be glad to help.

I also have lots of pictures and loads of family info. We used to have Atkinson family reunions, but not for 10 years, or so. I would like a copy of the picture.

I will have to look through Mom's pictures to see if she has one of Bob and Audry and sons.

Ancestry.com has my direct email address.

Thanks for contacting me.
