I had DAVIS & WALKER's in the Vanita/Welch, Oklahoma area.
I can only go back to Jefferson DAVIS. He was married to
Mary Jane HARLOW on 5th of Nov. 1866 in Mt. Vernon, Mo.
before she married George Washington WALKER. She was from
Baxter Springs,Lawrence County Ks. ( Cherokee County, Kansas ). They had one son George Sigal " Sig " DAVIS. born 14
September 1867. Jeff DAVIS was also married to Mary STORY
and had at least two daughters in this marriage. Emily Amanda DAVIS SHEFFIELD & Mary DAVIS SHEFFIELD. Mary was born 18 July 1861 and married Jesse Wooten SHEFFIELD in Benton County, Ak. in 1881. She only lived a short time ( about a yr. ) then Mary married Jesse in October of 1884.

George Washington WALKER married three times. George W. Walker lived in Cherokee Co. in the late 1800's and early 1900's. George Sigal DAVIS is also burried in the WALKER Cemetery outside Welch Ok.,
