Classification: Query
Surnames: Talley, Waldrum
Could your W.W. Talley possibly be William W. Talley who m. a Mary Frances Unknown?

I have their children as:
Hattie, b. ca 1893
Addie
Susie Josephine
Emma Easter
John Louis
William Oscar
Stella M.
Walter D.

I was told that most of these were born or from the Montague Texas area. Some are buried in or around the Duncan Ok area.

I have this census and have drawn the following conclusion...
1900: Montague, TX, Spanish Fort, Dist 262, ED 56, p. 10B, Taken 9 June 1900. LIine 55,, Dwelling #158, household #158.
William W Talley 45 AR, b. Mar 1855, married 11 yrs, parents b. AR
Martha J Talley 47 TX, b. Oct 1852, married 11 yrs, 12 children, 8 living, father m. MO, mother TX
Oscar Talley 20 TX, b. Dec 1879
Stella M Talley 18 TX, b. Jan 1882
Walter D Talley 16 TX, b. Dec 1884
Addie Talley 11 TX, b. Jan 1889
Susie Talley 9 TX, b. Aug 1890
Emma Talley 8 TX, b. Jan 1892
Hattie Talley 7 TX, b. Jan 1893
Jno L Talley 4 TX, b. Aug 1895
Willie Waldrum 19 TX, b. Feb 1881, step-son
Geo Washington Waldrum 15 TX, b. Nov 1884, step-son
(MY NOTE: Clearly, William and Martha were previously married to other people. As Martha has 8 living children and two step-sons for William are listed, given the birth dates, Oscar, Stella and Walter are William's children and Willie, George and another who is probably older than Willie are Martha's and her oldest child is on his or her own. Find the 1880 census for William Talley and for a Mr. Waldrum with a wife Martha.)

Can you help me add more. I run some Talley email lists and the DNA project. I've tons of Talley info in my database as a result and would love to see if this line ties to a larger family group.

Many thanks,
Emily
