Where to ask for Muskogee County research assistance?

Classification: Query
Surnames: Scroggins, Asher, Potter
Hello!
I am researching my Scroggins and Asher ancestries. They trace to Muskogee County between 1900 and 1946. Where could I ask for some help? I know my local library in Oregon has all kinds of indexes and records (taxes, divorces, births, deaths, obituaries) for my local area. My guess is that the Muskogee County Library will have information on my family.

The families are:
- Molly Narcissus "Wassie" Asher (maiden: Potter) and her husband Francis L. Asher and children (Sigle, Otis, Katy, etc.).
- Wassie's daughter's family: Katy Jane Scroggins (maiden: Asher)and Samuel James Scroggins (or Scroggin) and their children Lee, Sigle, Lenord, Henry.

There are all kinds of rumors and I really hope to find some documented information about these lines. I hope to share the information with all of my cousins.

I would love to visit the library in person, but I'm too far away!

Thank you very much for any guidance!

P.s. I read the Muskogee County GenWeb page and I'm aware of the costs to have library staff help me. I would like to avoid spending money until I'm absolutely sure that I have no other choice. Are there volunteers?

Again, thank you for any assistance. This is a big project.
