My grandfather, William Gaddis, married Bettie Lee Sheppard in Johnston Co., and lived there until they moved to Texas in 1928, where they lived until their deaths. The family members still live in and around Dallas except the descendants of Lem Gaddis, who stayed in Ponca City, Ok. and the surrounding areas.
