Surnames: Bowen, Musick
Jasper Newton Bowen was my gggrandfather. He left Montgomery Co.,Ark in early 1900's for Oklahoma. I haven't found out where yet but he and his wife are buried in McClain Co.,Okla.
Here is what I know:

1) William(Billy)Bowen married Sarah Musick(Looks like Musick on Jasper's death certificate)
2) Jasper Newton Bowen b.5-26-1856 Pickins Co.,S.C. d.5-22-1930 Caddo Co.,Okla. Buried McClain Co. Hopping Ceme. Married Pricilla Ann Gibbs in Montgomery Co.,Ark. in 1879. He married M.V.Whittington in 1922 Okla. 7 years after his wife died.

3) Sarah Elmira Bowen

3) Pauline Jane Bowen(Jennie)

3) Zelia Bell Bowen

3) Leatha Ellen Bowen

3) Myrtle Bowen

3) Martha Ann Bowen(Mattie)

3) Gilford Lewis Bowen (Dugan) only son

3) Bessie Evans Bowen

3) Mary Mae Bowen
2) William Bowen married Sarah ?
2) Nancy Bowen
2) Iris Bowen
2) Elbert Bowen
This is all I know on Japser's siblings and this was in my mothers Bible, so I am not sure if this is even accurate.
I have much more info on Japser's family. Jasper was a Primitive Baptist Preacher. I have several pictures of him.

Are you kin to this Bowen or think you may be?
It seems as though our fasmilies came from the same area in Ark. and then to the same area in Okla. A coincidence or family??
