[headline] FOUR DROWN NEAR EL RENO
El Reno, Okla., July 1-(Special)- Four deaths by drowning occured near here Thursday afternoon when the children of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Friel lost their lives in the North Canadian River. Kathleen and Teresa Friel, aged 16 and 14, were gathering plums while their brothers, Beruard and John, aged 11 and 9, were bathing nearby. The boys went too far into the deep water and in trying to rescue them the girls went down with them. Experts swimmers recovered the bodies in ten feet of water. The father is employed by the El Reno Gas & Electric Company.
