don't think this is my John Quigley as he was born in 1899 and had no middle name.
However once I get a few more credits for Scotlandspeople I can search for him via the 1911 Census records.
I've heard of partners disappearing before and making a new life, in a new country but think this may be highly unlikely on this occasion.
