The photos are really just your typical studio photographs, probably where the young women went to get there photos done (perhaps their grad. pictures?) just so they could send them out to friends and family and then they wrote on the back the date 1892 and E.C.O. Most of them have the painted backdrop in the background and they are either sitting or standing in front of it. The other photos are of the shoulders up, including the photographs of multiple people(plain white background on these).
-Two of the photos were taken at Urlin and Becker photography Cleveland, Ohio (94 to 100 Wilshire building)
- One was taken at Zeleny photography 423 Woodland Ave, Cleveland, Ohio
-Another was taken by Elmer Chickering photography of Boston Mass. This photo was of three girls and the back is signed by Marie Stainbaugh sp? and dated 4/20 1892 E.C.O.
-The last is another photograph of three girls, but only has the same year and initials written.
The person that these pictures were sent to was named Frances Taylor Corbin. I do not know her education history but I do know she lived (pretty sure her entire life) in Cleveland Ohio. She seems to go back and write the date that the girls in the photographs were married as well.
