I just saw your post concerning Daniel B. SANDERS. I am not a SANDERS descendant, but checked in Ancestry.com and found one submission for your James B. SANDERS. The submitter has his father as James SANDERS, b. 1835 OH. and mother as Maria b. 1844. Submitter (name not listed, but one can contact them through Ancestry) indicates Daniel married Ida JONES 18 Dec. 1880 Mason Co., MO. and they had a daughter named Lola Bettie (Nan) SANDERS, b. 18 Apr 1882 Mason Co., MO. and d. 4 Mar 1960 Del Norte, CO. She married Clarence GOODMAN 26 June 1898 Del Norte, CO.
I also checked RootsWeb's WorldConnect and found only one submission and it appears to be the same submitter over on Ancestry.
I checked the LDS site and found a marriage record in Scioto Co., OH. for James Sanders to Maria WHITE 10 Apr 1859. This looks to all connect. At least it gives you something to work with. Possibly checking FamilySearch.org they may have death records for the state of MO. and CO. Maybe this will lead to finding a death certificate for Daniel, and proving who his parents were.
I use to have one of the older Scioto Co. Histories that had numerous biographies in it. Helping others when I had this book, I recall one WHITE bio. that lead back to the Mayflower, if this might be of interest to you.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting,
Judi
