I am trying to find the parents of Charles Sloop. Originally born in Richwood, living with his mother until he came to Delaware Co. in 1835 and purchased land. He married Matilda Nepp a native of Fairfield Co. 25 Dec. 1831 and had twelve children: Harrison, Eli, Mary J., Harriet, Isabel A., Isaiah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Matilda, Eliza, Margaret and John. His wife died 14 Jan 1854 and is buried with Charles and several children in the Thompson-Shoup cemetery. Charles apparently has a probate record: case # 5041. Any information on Charles and his parents very much appreciated.
