CHILLICOTHE: Eileen S. Slaughter, 68, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died 9:29 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
She was born October 10, 1946, in Chillicothe, to the late Ralph W. "Bill" and Eileen Shea Ward. On April 15, 1978, she married George M. Slaughter who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Michele Reed and fiance Jeff Wright, both of Portsmouth, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Otis Carter, of Waycross, GA; and grandchildren, Erica and Joshua Kalb and Grifany and Gylan Carter.
She was predeceased by a son, Myke Kalb.

Eileen was a member of Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church.

She retired from Martin Marietta. Eileen was a 1964 graduate of Clay High School.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Donald Mundy officiating. B

Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.
