In 1930 I find a Joseph "H" Martin in the Richland County Children's Home - Joseph born about 1921. The Children's Home was on Hedges Street in Madison Township. Joseph born in Ohio and both parents in the US.

The only William Martin in Ohio that might be your husband is William Martin living in the household of Ira and Edith Spare in Plain Township, Wayne County, Ohio. William is age 14 and his relationship to head of household is "lodger". William and both parents are listed as having been born in Ohio.
