This will get you started, I think.

The 1920 census for Shelby, Richland County shows Leroy Miller, age 13, living in the household of John and Susan Weaver. His relationship to John is grandson.

Also in the household are his mother, Anna Miller, age 37, divorced and his sister, Susie, age 7. And his great-grandmother, Mary Weaver, age 88, born in Pennsylvania.

I think this is the Leroy Miller, age 2, living in the household of Cameron and Ann Miller in Vernon Township, Crawford County, in 1910. Cameron is 29, Anna is 27 and there is another daughter, Ladona, age 1 month. Also in that household is Mary Scherer, age 79, listed as mother with grandp. written above that. So probably Cameron's grandmother.

In 1920 it appears that Cameron Miller, age 39, born in Ohio is living in St. Petersburg, Florida with a new wife, Osia.

Anna, Leroy and Susan Miller are still living in Shelby in 1930.

My guess is that Anna Miller may have married someone named Dickson after 1930 and that Leroy and Susan might have changed their last name to Dickson in order to be adopted by that person and be able to inherit his property. Just a guess, but I have seen that happen before.

Good luck!
