Were parents of George Secrist Henry Secrist and Dorotha Coon? If so, his brother Michael is my 3rd great grandfather who married Mary McMahill 12 November 1837, Logan County Ohio the first time and left Eddyville, Iowa for the west where Mary married John Underwood on 7 March 1862, thinking Michael was dead. He was later found in Montana by a son but Mary stayed with John Underwood until his death on 22 April 1890 in Eddyville, Iowa. Then Mary came to Vancouver, Clark, Washington where Michael had settled with his children and they were remarried here 3 June 1891.
