I am looking for some members of the Shaw family also.
My gr Gr Grandmother Jean Shaw. She may have also been known as Mary or Mary Jane. She was married to William Henegan and both were in one edition of the Knox Co History.
William met Jean(Jane) in Scotland were I assumed they married. Their son John Henegan is who I am descended from.
William and son John were contractors and while in Iowa working on the canal William died. I found his grave. But I have not found where Jean (Jane) is buried. I have looked at Knox county records with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Michele Finneran Williams
