It is possible that the Lewis you found is the one I am looking for. His parents were born in Prussia.. The 1860 Census says he was born in Ohio but that could be wrong. Edwin Rinehart was a cigar maker by profession, so Lewis working in a tobacco shop certainly would fit. I know for a fact that Louis C. Heck was a cigarmaker all his life. He even owned his osn cigar factory in Ft. Wayne, Ind. I, too, came across Fredk Reinhardt, age 11, in the orphan asylum. The spelling of the name is correct also. Thanks for your reply.
