I found Casper Ackerman sometimes spelled Ackermann listed in Columbus City Directory.

1896-1897 819 City Park, Laborer
1898-1899 679 Pearl, Laborer

There was a Valentine Ackermann who live at 517 City Park???


If any of these houses are still around you can go to Franklin County Auditor website and see pictures. I think the online property records only go back to 1920.
