I was just wondering where your person is buried? Deiance County was part of Williams County at one time and so was part of Fulton County. I think that sometime the records from the old cemeteries are there but have been put away and not found. I have located old records for some cemeteries by asking the old clerks for the townships. The township trustees are in charge of the cemeteries unless the cemetery is in a city. If you have old cemetery records and didn't find them at the library, I hope you copy them and give them to the library. Some of the cemeteries are church related and you have to go thru the church to get the records. In Defiance County we have tombstone inscriptions that were read in 1978 - 1982 for most of the cemeteries and we have published them. THe publiscation list is on the Genealogy Society website. I know Williams County has a website also.
