Dear David Watson, Regarding Carey Kizer Sr. living in the home of Mary and Jonathan Ruse in Highland Co., OH: Jonathan Reuse (Ruse) is listed as the witness to the marriage of George Bishir and Delilah Morsman (Lillie M. Kizer Bisher's parents-in-law) 26 Nov 1867 Highland Co. OH. I have a copy of sworn affidavite wherein Jonathan Ruse recalls their marriage. Jonathan Ruse married Delilah's sister, Mary Mossman (Morsman) 26 Sept 1867. I should think that there must have been a closer relationship to Morsman/Ruse for Carey Kizer Sr. to be living with them in his declining years. I'm curious how you know he reided there.
