I am looking for the first marriage of Lydia SMITH (b.June 1859 Belmont Co., OH) and (unknown) JONES. Two known sons are Willis JONES b.Mar 1883 and Wilbur JONES b.May 1885, but I suspect at least one other child.

Lydia (SMITH) JONES married 2nd Issac JARRETT about 1888 (date unknown)reportedly in Belmont County and moved to Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH. I assume she died between 1900 and 1908 in Zanesville, before death certificates began, as Isaac JARRETT married 2nd about Sept. 1909 Anna, widow of David STINEMAN/STEINMAN.

Willis JONES married, resided and died in Zanesville. The whereabouts of Wilbur JONES remains a mystery. When Isaac JARRETT remarried, his children with Lydia SMITH-JONES remained with him and his new wife and his STINEMAN step-children disappeared in 1910.

FYI: This Isaac JARRETT (the 3rd), was the son of Isaac JARRETT (the 2nd) and Hannah LIGHTFOOT of Belmont County.
